Your atlas model 1410 tv & radio tower should be erected beside one of the turns on your track or, if your track is fairly elaborate, at some difficult to negotiate location where the action usually stays exciting. You’ll be able to keep your TV and radio personnel at their posts by means of a false sense of security if you stack a substantial pile of atlas hay bales between the track and the tower. Otherwise everyone aboard the tower is apt to join the birds each time one of the cars loses its grip and comes sliding in at it.

- Install the four tubular columns 1 on base 2 by pressing each of the columns into one of the base lugs.
- Line up the holes in one of the platforms 3 with the tops of the columns then carefully slide the platform downwardly until it is about 3/8 inch above the base.
- Install the two remaining platforms on the columns leaving the uppermost platform flush with the column upper ends. Adjust the center platform along the columns to a position midway between the upper and lower platforms. If you wish the platforms may now be permanently fixed to the columns with a small dab of model airplane cement on the platform under-surfaces.
- Determine the correct length for the ladder 4 by installing it temporarily. After marking the length remove the ladder and carefully cut off the excess. The ladder may now be cemented into the base and against the top rail of each platform.
- Install TV camera 5 and cameraman 6 on the uppermost platform, the microphone 7 and announcer 8 on the center platform. Cement a small piece of paper over the opening on the rear of the TV monitor 9 then install it and the director 10 on the lower platform.
