Monday, March 8th, 2010Of the many varied small structures you will find around a motor raceway, the entrance building will frequently be the most distantly removed from the track itself. Track sites are usually completely surrounded by fencing placed at a sufficient distance from the track so as to foil the freeloaders. after all, without mentioning the the overhead, the taxes on all of that real estate are considerable. Then too, you may have to fill in a gap in the prize money if you are afflicted by a lack of sponsors. You will need to provide a parking area, for your patrons, somewhere outside the fence and your atlas model 1404 entrance building should be located at a break in the fence at this area. If you are operating a fairly large track you may want to expedite the flow of patrons by installing a second atlas entrance building alongside the first or at the opposite end of the track.

Atlas HO Model 1404-89 Entrance Building Assembly Instructions
Thursday, February 25th, 2010- Before beginning assembly apply all the decorative stickers called for on the drawing.
- Install building 1 on base 2.
- Cement the two turnstiles 3 in place.
- Install the four short picket fences 4. Note that there are two left hand and two right hand fences which should be installed as shown in the drawing. Install the two long picket fences 5.
- Install roof 6.
- Apply pennants to poles on roof signs 7. Determine proper location for each sign then apply the pennants so that they all appear to flutter in the same general direction. Cement the signs to the roof gutters as shown.
- Install the loudspeaker 8.
