Bachmann Plasticville USA HO Scale Slot Car Racing Track Layout Structures

Tuesday, May 11th, 2010

During the 1960’s Bachmann Bros Inc produced a line of HO scaled structures, in kit form, which could be used for slot car track layout scenery. These were produced as PLASTICVILLE U.S.A. ROAD RACING ACCESSORIES.  Since these injection molded plastic scenery models are now quite collectible, an unblemished complete set of the eight different unbuilt model kits can be expensive to purchase, as well as, time consuming to acquire.  Bachmann was one of several companies to manufacture such a wide variety of scenic kits specifically made for 1:87 scale slot cars. Here is a list of all of the vintage kits which were produced along with their original stock numbers and price.

  • 2608-100 Gas Station with Auto
  • 2675-100 Hot Dog Stand
  • 2676-100 Grandstand
  • 2677-100 First Aid Station
  • 2775-129 Pit Stop
  • 2776-129 Judges Stand
  • 2777-129 Sitting People w/ Paint Set
  • 2875-149 Cross-Over Bridge

If you can find them at a price you can afford, I will guarantee that these kits will make fantastic additions to your slotcar layout once they are built.
