- Assemble RELEASE WIRE to RELEASE LEVER (SIMULATED HAY BALE).
- Place RELEASE WIRE and LEVER ASSEMBLY into position of #1 PYLON HALF – then locate COIL SPRING under HAY BALE and onto PEG of PYLON BASE EXTENSION.
- Place PEG on FLAG into HOLE at top of #1 PYLON HALF.
- With FLAG and RELEASE WIRE, LEVER and SPRING in proper position – Place #2 PYLON HALF over #1 PYLON HALF.
- Hold PYLON ASSEMBLY firmly and insert into PYLON BASE. If PYLON is correctly assembled FLAG may be “RAISED” by hand and it will only “DROP” when HAY BALE RELEASE is depressed. When you have made certain that PYLON is correctly assembled and functions properly, PYLON can be cemented to PYLON BASE, being careful not to get any cement near HAY BALE LEVER. It is not necessary to cement PYLON HALVES together and it is advisable not to do so unless extreme care is taken not to get any cement near the FLAG PIVOTS and RELEASE LEVER (HAY BALE).
- Cut out “GUM LABEL” FLAGS and apply to START-FINISH FLAGS on PYLONS.
