HO Slot Car Layout Accessories 1411-69 24 Figures

Thursday, February 18th, 2010

The appearance of these highly detailed scaled figures will be greatly enhanced if they are painted before being placed in the grandstands, bleacher stands or around the track. It is easiest to paint these figures before detaching them from the long runner bars (or sprues). Any hobby shop can supply you with a good selection of colors especially formulated for use on plastics. Flat based paints show up better as glossy enamels tend to fill in the fine details. The best brush is a sable number 0. It is a good idea to work with one color at a time, applying that particular color to all figures. The first figure painted will be dry before you finish the last and also you will not need to clean the brush as often which will extend brush life. The following figures are included: Doctor, Driver, Flagman, Nurse, Pit Crew Worker, Policeman, Sitting Female x4, Sitting Male v1 x3, Sitting Male v2 x3, Standing Female x3, Standing Male x4. Please note that the numbers of standing or sitting figures may vary.
